Commercial videographer in Phoenix and Scottsdale
Full-day commercial production for local businesses and remote marketing teams. Dedicated project coordination, clear communication and all raw footage at no extra cost.
Phoenix, Arizona · Serving clients across North America

Need a commercial videographer in Phoenix or Scottsdale who can take responsibility for the shoot? Occulus Films works with local businesses, marketing teams and out-of-state agencies that need dependable production support in Arizona.
We typically book a full day as the minimum, with local production-only work starting around $2,000. All raw footage is provided at no additional cost. If you also need finished videos, we can scope editing around the content and the ways you plan to use it.
Occulus Films is a veteran-owned, family-run video production company founded in 2014. Our focus is business video: interviews, testimonials, events, brand content and supporting footage. Before filming, we recommend a discovery or strategy conversation to make sure the investment fits your goals.
What you can book us for
Interviews and testimonials
We film customer, executive and employee interviews, with supporting footage planned around the story. We can conduct the interview, support your interviewer or capture material for your internal team or agency to edit.
If you need to participate remotely, your team can view the actual interview shot through Zoom and speak with the interviewee. Audio from our microphones is routed into the call so you can hear the conversation clearly. For a complete project, explore our testimonial video production service.
Events and conferences
Plan coverage around the moments you need: interviews, speakers, the room, the people or footage for a recap. Tell us the priorities and schedule so the crew can cover the assignment properly.
We also do substantial event photography. Discuss both needs before booking so the plan includes time and people for each. See our conference and event video production work.
B-roll, product footage and content shoots
If your editor has a brief or shot list, share it before production. We can capture footage for an existing project or help plan a shoot around the videos you need.
Our equipment ranges from cinema cameras suited to commercial production to mirrorless cameras suited to web content. We select the setup around the assignment rather than assuming every project needs the same approach. Crew, equipment and technical requirements are agreed before the shoot.
Full-day videographer bookings and pricing
A full-day booking is typically our minimum. Local production-only work starts around $2,000, with the actual estimate based on the assignment, crew and equipment requirements. Editing, travel and additional services are scoped for the project.
All raw footage is provided to clients at no additional cost. Your team can use it with an internal editor, agency or future production. We can also edit the videos you need from the captured content, with the number and formats agreed in the scope.
The discovery conversation matters here. Knowing the audience, goal and intended uses helps us plan what should be captured and avoid overlooking something your finished videos will need.

How we coordinate your shoot
Hold the date and organize the production
Our first scheduling step is to hold the date on our calendar. We then arrange the crew and equipment needed before the shoot and communicate the production arrangements with you.
A dedicated project manager coordinates the project and keeps communication moving. We check in a couple of days before, or the day before the shoot, to confirm we are ready and give your team peace of mind.
Work with your point of contact
For agency and remote-client assignments, we ask who will coordinate the shoot and communicate with that person about what is needed. We regularly handle local production for companies based elsewhere, often without their team supervising in person.
Send the brief, location, people involved and any technical requirements. Clear coordination before the shoot gives the crew the information it needs to execute the assignment.
Make the footage handoff practical
We often provide a download link, depending on the quantity of files. We can also arrange a hard-drive handoff, ship a drive or deliver one by hand. We agree on the practical delivery approach for your project.
Local work for clients near and far
Lifetime Home Remodeling: local testimonial shoots for a remote marketing team
We handled local customer testimonial shoots on two occasions for Lifetime Home Remodeling, coordinating with its marketing team in Colorado. This is a common assignment for us: a company needs a local team to capture the story while its creative team works from elsewhere.

EMIDS: a customer story filmed locally
We filmed at Blue Cross Blue Shield locally for EMIDS, an out-of-town company. The portfolio example is a software customer testimonial featuring its client, Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Renew Full Arch Lab: local brand and founder content
Renew Full Arch Lab is a local client. Our work includes founder introductions, educational videos and customer proof, with discovery, creative direction, production and post-production.

Other local assignments
Our local work also includes AI Launch brand and event videos, Revive Dental and A1 Garage Doors work for ServiceTitan. We filmed HB Capital's customer story locally for a company based outside Arizona. That mix includes full-service projects and production support.
Phoenix, Scottsdale and the wider Valley
We serve the entire Phoenix Valley, including Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe and Glendale. Tell us the actual site or venue so we can plan around access, timing and what needs to happen there.
We also serve Tucson and Northern Arizona. Travel incurs additional costs and is included in the project discussion. Our team and contractor network can support assignments across the United States and Canada.
Additional production capabilities
Drone filming
We have FAA Part 107 pilots available for drone work. Tell us the location and the footage you need so aerial capture can be planned as part of the assignment.
Teleprompter services
Teleprompter support is available when a presenter needs it. Discuss the presentation and script during planning so the production includes the appropriate setup.
Photography alongside video
We provide headshots, posed portraits, candid images, event photography and brand photography. A shoot featuring technicians at work can include photos of those people in action alongside the B-roll.
Photography needs its own place in the scope and schedule. Explore our commercial and event photography service if your team needs still images as well as video.
Live on-set editing and media management
Live on-set editing is available when quick turnarounds or the production workflow call for it. We can also discuss media management requirements. These services are planned into the crew and scope rather than assumed to be included in every booking.
How much notice do you need?
Two weeks' notice is ideal. It gives us a better opportunity to book the people and equipment needed and prepare the assignment properly. We generally aim for at least a week's lead time, but our team and network have also helped us accommodate last-minute requests.
A basic interview-and-B-roll project may need less preparation when subjects are already selected. More involved creative work needs more planning. Send the dates as soon as you know them; availability is confirmed for the actual assignment.
What to send for an accurate estimate
We recommend a call so we understand the project and avoid missing important requirements. Helpful starting information includes:
- Your budget range, shoot date and location.
- The goal and audience for the project.
- The number of finished videos or other deliverables you need.
- Where the content will run, such as a live event, ads or your website.
- Examples of previous work or reference videos that show the direction you want.
- The point of contact coordinating the shoot and any existing brief or technical requirements.
Our contact-page quote form asks for this kind of information. Share what you know, and we can work through the remaining details in the discovery conversation.
